bulan Mei 1998 tidak akan pernah hilang dari ingatan, ketika peluru-peluru tajam menembus mahasiswa yang memperjuangkan reformasi. setelah 11 tahun berlalu, siapa pelaku pembunuhan tersebut masih tetap misterius.

13-15 Mei 1998 menjadi hari paling kelam di antara peristiwa gelap bangsa ini. khususnya di Jakarta, Yogya, Solo dan daerah-daerah lain di Indonesia.

The Lawyer of Antasari Azhar, Ari Yusuf Amir, has guessed there is another masterminding above Sigit HB. That Masterminind has begun to discover.
“There is another masteminding above sigid Haryo” He said to detik.com on Thursday (7/5/2009).
According in his opinion, the person above Sigid has begun to discover slowly, based on police’s investigation.
When he was asked about alleged a businessman’s involvement named HTS, Ari said that suspicion may develop the investigation more bigger.
“Police must recheck the truth. Love is only diversion motive, there is another bigger motive that Antasari trapped in.” Ari said.
Sigid Haryo is the owner of Merdeka Newspaper. During police investigation, he played to keep the Nasrudin Zulkarnaen’s assasination with 500 million rupiahs. Sigid recently was recognized as a person near to politicians and businessmen.

Dapat beasiswa ke Jepang ditolak, malah pilih STAN

Ugh.. Miris membaca berita ini. Bodoh bener sih ni anak, ga gaul kali ya. Beasiswa ke Jepang ga diambil. Eh malah masuk kuliah di STAN. Belum tau kali ya, kalau di STAN tuh bukan nyari ilmu. Hanya berguna untuk nyari duit. Lha wong otaknya encer kok kuliah di STAN, mending kuliah tuh di negeri Sakura, orang pinter pasti banyak yang gaji tinggi. Kuliah di STAN tuh cocoknya untuk orang yang malas berpikir. Lah gimana toh, lha wong ujiannya (mid atau final) kebanyakan dikasih kisi-kisi. Dosennya dosen cabutan. Kebanyakan lulusan STAN yang nyari pengalaman buat ngajar. Bukan asli berprofesi jadi dosen, hanya PNS-PNS yang nyari kesibukan (dengan mengajar) di waktu luang mereka. Cara mengajar juga difokuskan bukan buat ‘mengerti’ tapi lebih di arahkan buat mengerjakan soal2, hanya dikasih soal dan dibahas, dikasih soal dan dibahas, bukan diprioritaskan untuk mengerti dasar-dasar nya. Contoh jelasnya adalah pemberiaan program mata kuliah. Anak-anak STAN tidak diberi mata kuliah teori yang banyak. Anak-anak D III kalo sudah D IV baru di kasih mata kuliah Teori Akuntansi. Decision maker, jelas bukan tujuan belajar di STAN. Lulusan STAN hanya akan melahirkan kroco-kroco di kantor-kantor pemerintahan di DEPKEU. Read the rest of this entry »

Kebakaran Busway

Sebuah busway terbakar beberapa hari lalu tanpa ada korban jiwa. Beberapa penumpang dikabarkan cedera akibat dorong-dorongan ketika mau keluar dari pintu samping. Beberapa saat sebelumnya dilaporkan keluar asap dari dashboard bus. Diduga terjadi konsleting pada mesin bus TransJakarta tersebut. Kejadiannya di Koridor II (Pulogadung – Harmoni), dekat Tugu Tani, depan Hotel Arya Duta, Jalan Prapatan, Jakarta Pusat, Jumat pagi 22 Februari. Sistem busway koridor II dioperasikan oleh konsorsium PT TransBatavia. Perusahaan itu menyediakan 55 bus berbahan bakar gas untuk koridor tersebut.

Produk ini menawarakan solusi monitor jaringan yang ada di lingkungan kantor. Dengan beberapa fitur yang ada, kita sebagai administrator jaringan bisa melacak jejak bandwith yang terpakai tiap detik. Di tampilan aplikasinya kita bisa melihat berapa bandwith yang terpakai, dari host mana, membuka protokol apa saja yang lewat sehingga kita bisa me-manage jaringan kita.

LiveHealth adalah tool semacam network monitor yang bisa melihat trafic bandwith di tiap device di jaringan. Kita bisa pasang treshold ambang batas pemakaian bandwith, jika telah melampaui maka akan ada suatu warning yang menyala. Treshold ini bisa dipasang baik di batas atas maupun ambang bawah.

SySEdge adalah tool yang memonitor pemakaian bandwith lebih ke arah software OS yang dipakai.

Service Available adalah tool yang memberikan gambaran umum tentang report yang dibuat E-Health secara garis besar untuk dipakai oleh bagian manajerial. Lingkupnya lebih general dan masing-masing item bisa di drill down untuk melihat detailnya.

Application Response adalah tool yang memonitor pemakaian bandwith untuk masing-masing aplikasi yang dijalankan. Jadi kita bisa membagi dan me-manage bandwith aplikasi mana saja yang membuat lambat jaringan ataupun bisa memonitor aplikasi mana yang over quota bandwith.

BTStudio adalah tool yang bisa men trace permasalahan bandwith sampai ke source code program. Misal dalam kode program Java yang di bagian upload file, maka tool ini bisa mengenali bila kalo dalam bagian ini ada source kode yang bisa bikin lambat bandwith. Untk DJP hanya bisa untuk program berbasis Java. Sebenarnya ada yang diperuntukkan bagi platform lain misal .NET, tapi itu tidak termasuk dalam E-Health tapi terpisah sendiri.

Kisahnya dimulai sebelum saya lahir. Ibu kandung saya adalah mahasiswi belia yang hamil karena “kecelakaan” dan memberikan saya kepada seseorang untuk diadopsi. Dia bertekad bahwa saya harus diadopsi oleh keluarga sarjana, maka saya pun diperjanjikan untuk dipungut anak semenjak lahir oleh seorang pengacara dan istrinya. Sialnya, begitu saya lahir, tiba-tiba mereka berubah pikiran karena ingin bayi perempuan. Maka orang tua saya sekarang, yang ada di daftar urut berikutnya, mendapatkan telepon larut malam dari seseorang: “kami punya bayi laki-laki yang batal dipungut; apakah Anda berminat? Mereka menjawab: “Tentu saja.” Ibu kandung saya lalu mengetahui bahwa ibu angkat saya tidak pernah lulus kuliah dan ayah angkat saya bahkan tidak tamat SMA. Dia menolak menandatangani perjanjian adopsi. Sikapnya baru melunak beberapa bulan kemudian, setelah orang tua saya berjanji akan menyekolahkan saya sampai perguruan tinggi.

PROFIL BULETIN “BERGERAK!”

Latar Belakang Berdirinya Bergerak!

Buletin Bergerak! diterbitkan oleh aktivis pers mahasiswa pengelola Majalah Berita Mahasiswa (MBM) Suara Mahasiswa UI. Buletin Bergerak! terbit sehari sesudah berlangsungnya aksi demontrasi mahasiswa UI yang cukup besar di kampus UI Depok. Aksi di dalam kampus yang berlangsung pada 9 Maret 1998 atau tiga minggu sebelum Sidang Umum MPR 1998 itu diikuti sekitar 1.500 mahasiswa. Sejak terjadinya krisis ekonomi 1997, itu adalah aksi pertama mahasiswa UI yang secara verbal dan terang-terangan menolak kekuasaan Presiden Soeharto.

Semula di lingkungan UI sudah ada majalah Suara Mahasiswa UI yang terbit tiga bulan sekali. Namun karena melihat adanya kebutuhan di kalangan mahasiswa UI akan informasi yang cepat, hangat, terkini tentang dinamika aksi-aksi mahasiswa waktu itu, Bergerak! pun diterbitkan. Kebutuhan informasi tersebut waktu itu tidak bisa dipenuhi oleh penerbitan pers umum, karena isi pers umum tidak ditulis dengan perspektif mahasiswa. Kebutuhan informasi itu juga tak bisa dipenuhi Suara Mahasiswa, yang periode penerbitannya terlalu lama untuk bisa menangkap dinamika di dunia kemahasiswaan waktu itu.

Jadi, pada awalnya memang ada semacam kegemasan di kalangan sejumlah aktivis pers mahasiswa, melihat kondisi kemahasiswaan di UI yang relatif “adem ayem” saja. Padahal waktu itu berbagai kampus di luar UI sudah mulai ramai dengan aksi-aksi mahasiswa, yang dipicu oleh krisis ekonomi. Organisasi kemahasiswaan di UI dipandang terlalu lamban dalam memberi respons terhadap gejolak situasi di luar lingkungan kampus. Sementara itu, sosialisasi ide, arah, dan tujuan gerakan mahasiswa di kalangan mahasiswa UI juga belum berjalan baik. Untuk membangkitkan kesadaran mahasiswa ini diperlukan media yang bisa diterima oleh mayoritas mahasiswa UI.
